Who killed Rita Scallopini’s parents? I had the chance to be part of a murder mystery party a couple weeks ago. I was one of the suspects. I had to act like a suspect, yet provide enough clues that I wasn’t the murderer – without giving it away too easily. I had a script and a personality I had to master.
It was tough. But it was a blast.
What stood out to me so much from the experience was the framework we had to create. The 8 suspects had to create a world that was complex enough to be intriguing but simple enough to figure out the plot. What a complex framework for such a simple idea! And it took me acting out my part like a champion to make it possible.
God’s world is so much more complicated than a simple murder mystery framework. He’s created a framework so intricate that science will never have all the answers. The art world will never have all the paintings it needs.
The framework God created needs you to play your part. It needs you to explore. It needs you to add your plot points to the story. There are enough unique roles for us all…and they’re all vital.
There is so much room for you to make a mark in God’s framework. Your role is necessary and so complex…and you were born for it. You were born to play your role masterfully. You were born to make your mark in the mystery of life.
Rise to the occasion! Realize the plot is not complete until you’re living your part of it.
The world can never begin to comprehend the mystery until you’re playing your role.
