You can’t underestimate the power of play when it comes to creativity. Playing opens up the gateways to our childhood where our imaginations were extremely active. That’s why I take every chance I get to be childish. Get me in a room with a couple kids and you know a couch cushion fort is soon to follow.
What was your favorite imagination vehicle as a child? Legos? Domino rallies? Cardboard boxes? Dust off those tools hidden in the back of your closet. Or go garage sale-ing and get some play going on in your life.
Check out this really cool cardboard structure and get inspired!
What was your favorite imagination tool as a child? Chime in!
That Lego graphic sweet!

Thanks! 🙂
That's too sweet! I wish they would have built walls inside too tho 🙁 but my creative engine was probably legos
Ya…they really missed out on something awesome. But I think the goal wasn't a kid's fort. Haha
Mine was legos as well. I still occasionally bring them out when I get the itch. 😛

Awesome! This would also translate nicely into a stage design. On a smaller scale of course:-) It would create some really dramatic shadows and textures.
Have you seen these? Same sort of concept and a lot of stage designers are using them: http://mioculture.com/create/nomad-system.html
