I don’t normally get my theology from the Power Team, but they had one of the best slogans. God made you to win. And I see many people approaching arguments with that type of theological approach – win. So here are 12 times Jesus modeled arguing with people to prove you’re right.

Turns out I can’t actually find any instances of that. In fact, at the ultimate trial where Jesus was innocent and the government corruption was at its greatest, this is what happened:
Then the leading priests kept accusing him of many crimes, and Pilate asked him, “Aren’t you going to answer them? What about all these charges they are bringing against you?” But Jesus said nothing, much to Pilate’s surprise.
So, did God make you to win? Turns out, maybe He didn’t. Maybe instead we should follow this example from Jesus, as laid out by the Apostle Paul.
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God
as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges…
