One of the big struggles in editing Created for More was making it a book that would appeal to people who don’t consider themselves creative. A lot of people think they aren’t creative, but I think that’s a bunch of hooey.
I believe people are massively creative, they’re just afraid to tap into that creativity. And I’m about to prove that you’re creative. Here are three reasons you’re more creative than you think.
1. You could solve almost any problem if you needed to.
Imagine I asked you to get $10,000 in a month. That seems impossible, right? But it’s not. If your life depended on getting $30,000, you’d make it happen. You’d find ways (potentially even legal ways) to earn that money. You’d ask friends. You’d wash cars. Your creativity would kick in, because you had no other choice. You’re more creative than you think.
2. You knew you were creative as a child. You just forgot.
Nearly every child fancies themselves an artist, a poet, a writer. Their imaginations are their best friends. But somewhere along the line, people began to lie to you. Or worse, you began to lie to yourself. You heard you weren’t creative, and you believed that lie. Nothing changed inside of you. You didn’t lose that creative spark. You just forgot about it because you believed a lie.
3. You were made in the image of God.
God, the ultimate creative force in the universe, created you. He created you in His image. He gave you creative potential. You can either bury that talent and hide it away from the world, or you can invest that and develop it. If you’re familiar with Scripture, you’ll find the latter is preferable to the former.
You are creative. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Use that creativity to do great things. The world needs your input.

Hey Jonathan, I just received my book today and can’t put it down. So well written and easy to comprehend. Thank you for writing this book! Also, where can I go to buy this book in bulk for my creative team? Thanks again for writing something to help the creative minds out there 🙂
Put. The Book. Down…
Haha. So glad you like it! Probably right now the cheapest option is Amazon.com. They’re offering it for $8…that’s four bucks below retails and there’s free shipping. You could check with Moody but I’m not sure their bulk discount would beat that.
I’m never quite sure how Amazon does that. 😛
