You probably know, if you read my blog frequently, that I have a book coming out September 1st. It’s a devotional for creative minds. (Seriously, why haven’t you pre-ordered it yet?)
But you probably don’t know I have two other books in development. One book, Church Marketing Sucks is partnering with me on to publish. The other, I just finished the first draft on (no publisher yet).
How can I have three books in the works at once? Is my head about to explode? Do have all those thoughts swimming around in my head at once? Nope. I can work on so many books at once because I have people I trust to work on them with me.
As soon as I get a book to a place I’m happy with, I send it to someone else. I get it in email form as quickly as possible. I sent it to my family, to editors, to publishers. I send it to anyone who can help me make it better. And while they’re working on it, I forget about it.
As they’re doing their job, I’m working on my next project. It’s in someone else’s hands, so it’s outside of my hands.
I think too many people hold on to their dreams and ideas as if they were the only one who could take care of them. Consequently, they can only work on one thing at a time.
But I’ve found by bringing other people into my dream, I can accomplish far more than I could on my own. True, not everyone is a writer, but some people love editing. Some people love helping others think through ideas.
Enlist these people. Bring them in on your dream. When we partner together and share our work, we make our work bigger than ourselves. We get to do more. (And without added stress.)
Don’t be so eager to hold onto your dream on your own. Share the burden with friends, family, and even complete strangers.

I am really looking forwad to your book. One copy will be shipped to Germany.
And certainly some more.
All the best to you!
Thanks so much Andreas! 🙂
You constantly inspire us present-day DaVinci! Looking forward to getting the new book. My ibook library will be filled with Malm.
Haha. Thanks, Jason! 🙂
