I’ve discovered something about haters. They’re idealists. They’re idealists that can’t live up to their own ideals.
Haters observe a situation and think they know how to do it better. It could be improved this way or that. It just isn’t right. Unfortunately, a hater will never step up and make it better. They don’t have the capacity to live up to the perfect ideals they project on everyone else. They don’t really know how to fix the situation, they’re just criticizing it.
The thing that makes haters so dangerous, though, is that we never find out they can’t do what they’re saying should be done. Because a hater will never try. We’ll never see them fail because they never try anything risky. So, because the hater has never failed, we assume they know what they’re talking about. But they don’t.
I don’t care how brilliant you are, you have no authority to speak into something you aren’t willing to try on your own. If you aren’t willing to take the risk, you have no business criticizing someone who is.
So this fact about haters translates to two truths for us. The first is: don’t be a hater. You’ll never accomplish anything worthwhile. Haters are too busy hating to do anything of consequence.
Second: don’t listen to haters. Their arguments are persuasive and emotional. They’ll affect you on a deep level. But they don’t know what they’re talking about. They. Don’t. Know. Never take advice on the stock market from someone who’s never invested. And never take advice on a risk from someone who’s never risked – and someone who hates on those who do.
Have you given your ear to haters? Have you been discouraged? Put that discouragement to the side and start moving forward again. Don’t give into them. Pity the fools who hate.

Hhahha yes. Pity the fool. This was very well written and I appreciate your honesty and realness man. Keep it up.

This made me smile today. Thank you!
It’s true—their arguments are persuasive & emotional… the do affect you on a deep level.
I find it difficult (in the church world) to be loving, kind, & gracious to the haters. Gotta work on that.
