Feeling creatively blocked? Why not go on a road trip? Seriously, hop in your car, drive a few hours, and enjoy some different scenery.
You don’t have to go for a week. Go for the day. Who cares if it’s a waste of gas and money. Your creative sanity is worth far more than $80. My new buddy Denny Weinman did that. He just finished up a massive project and decided it was time for a break. He drove 3 hours to hit the beach for the day, and we got to connect over coffee while he was here.
Sometimes we get so numb to our environment. That’s a tragedy. Some of your greatest inspiration can be found by your surroundings. So hop in the car. Drive to a location with some different scenery. Drive to a forest, a lake, a river, a beach, a mountain…you get the idea. Then just soak it in. Relax. Get inspired again.

Huge believer in leaving the county. One of my favorite ways to spend the day s a trip into the nearest actual city. A fresh vIew makes everything better. Plus a few hours of cranking tunes never hurts either. 🙂
True that! Sometimes I like to blast the tunes and roll the windows down. At 75 mph it's awesome! 🙂
