Not to rehash an old post, but I really experience Relocation Inspiration yesterday. I found myself working on the same project for 3 hours. I was stuck! No inspiration. I knew I needed a change of scenery.
So I put down everything, and started wandering around. After about twenty minutes of searching I found the perfect spot outside. The weather was right, the scenery was right, and the area was secluded. I kicked off my shoes and worked. An hour later, I completed my entire to-do list for the day and loved my work.
Don’t de-value your surroundings. Though it might seem like you’re wasting time, it’s worth spending up to an hour finding the right work atmosphere. I actually saved 2+ hours by devoting 20 minutes finding the right spot to work.
