Creativity is about people. It’s about the way people are affected by the things we do. It’s easy to think that creativity is about doing something that’s never been done before. And there is some truth to that. But no one would ever actually destroy a building by slingshoting birds into it. Just because it’s never been done before doesn’t mean it’s creative. That would be considered twisted.
The success of Angry Birds is not a result of humanity’s hidden desire to destroy edifices with fowl. Angry Birds adds value to its players. It’s about people. It’s about the challenge.
Even the story of Angry Birds is about people. It’s about revenge and rescue. Those are two very strong human concepts. We can relate to it. It captures our attention.
So while you’re creating something the world has never quite seen, remember it’s not about the originality. It’s about people—your audience. Connect with your audience and you will create magic.

That is one of the major reason I really enjoy blogging. I love the relationships and connections that it developes by interacting with people that comment on your blog and on the blogs of others.
Is Tuesday your blog-reading day, Adam? 😛
