You know what makes Where the Wild Things Are such a captivating book/movie? We can relate to it. Every kid used to imagine things that weren’t there. A hole in the ground turned into an expansive cave with a new race of beings. A puddle of water turned in to a raging river. The imagination and a little effort made it so.
That’s why I love these landscape permutations by photographer David Semeniuk. Instead of taking pictures of what is…he took pictures of what could be.

What exists in your realm of creativity that you could transform into something? How can you copy-paste and create your own reality?
- Maybe instead of your broken-romance love song, you could write a song about what could have been.
- Maybe your photo of the stars needs to feature a second or third moon.
- Maybe instead of designing a graphic, take existing elements and mash them up.
How can you use creativity to put things where they aren’t?

Awesome concept! All this takes is a very little amount of creativity, mashed resources, and sit back and let the audience's natural-minded creativity take control and make the work happen!
True that. Good creativity leaves much of the work up to the audience's own creativity.
