One question. What’s the biggest thing you’ve learn about creativity? Joe Cavazos answers: “Creativity is pretty laid back, she goes and comes when she wants. However, she will always be there as long as I’m willing to chase her.”
This might represent Joe’s laid back nature, but I think he’s onto something. Creatives get inspiration from the most random things. Inspiration is a fickle creature–acting on a whim.
So keep yourself open to inspiration at all times. Keep a notepad with you. Keep your camera app at the ready. Be ready to capture inspiration whenever it strikes.
And when it seems like creativity is avoiding you, know this: she isn’t lost. If you’re willing to pursue her, you will find her. Just keep looking.
