It’s easy to get lazy when you’re creating for the fun of it. Do you want to go anywhere with your creativity? You need to be intentional about getting there. “Everyone ends up somewhere, but few people end up somewhere on purpose.” – Craig Groeschel
This goes along with giving yourself little victories…but it’s bigger than that. Little victories give you something to keep you happy where you are. Mapping out your future gives you steps to take you somewhere new.
Where do you want to be, creatively, in 2 years. Do you want a book deal? Do you want a record deal and national tour? Do you want 30 clients and be self-supporting?
What steps will it take to get there? Write those down. Be specific. Begin working toward your goal. A plan gives you focus for your creativity. It keeps you working on the right projects instead of getting distracted with things that don’t take you places. Oh! The places you’ll go.
So glad I subscribed to this blog. This was just what I needed right now. Thanks brother!
